On Friday, we spent the day talking about our favorite books and making a list of what we might want to read next. Students have received a reading log for the month of April (it looks like a calendar) so that they can stay in the habit of reading every day.
Also, students interested in participating in Book Club should try to pick up a copy of the book The Emerald Atlas by John Stephens. We will discuss the book when we return to school during lunch time. Book Club is completely optional- if students want to participate, all they need to do is find a copy of the book and keep up with reading it!
