For Humanities this week, students are to read 20-30 minutes at home. They have a reading log to fill out- it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to complete the reading log. I'm requesting that parents initial that students read- it won't be collected and graded until Friday (so you can initial on Thursday for the week if you don't have a chance each night.)
The only other homework for the week will be completing any unfinished classwork. Students will be given time to work on these assignments in class, and if they manage their time wisely, reading will be the only homework this week.
Students were given a binder in class today to keep track of their work. It's important that students have loose leaf paper and a pen or pencil each day for class- we've had a lot of students with missing supplies the last week! Organization and preparedness will be a focus in the coming days and weeks.
