Decorate your personal journals. Cover the journal completely. You can use fabric, photos, paint, fur, plastic eyes, feathers, sequins .... Let your imagination go and your personality shine. Do consider durability, how long your design will last, given daily backpack transport. My homeroom is invited (not required) to write a response to the journal entry I read from Freedom Writers.
